Lake Mission Viejo Boat Rentals are one of most FUN things to do at “The Lake”.
Lake Mission Viejo Boat Rentals are limited to the hours of the North Beach Rental Office. Those hours vary depending upon the time of the year, due to when daylight ends and darkness begins. All rented equipment MUST be returned prior to closing time. Lake Mission Viejo Opening Hours
Lake Mission Viejo Boat Rentals For Senior Citizens (62 and older) are in effect on Tuesdays (after Labor Day) through Thursdays (prior to Memorial Day). Rates for seniors, when in effect, are typically 50% off. This is a great way for seniors to take advantage of discounted pricing while on a fixed income.
Party Boats: With a capacity for 10 people this is the perfect way to take a leisurely cruise around the lake while serving drinks and tasty treats. The Party Boats are very stable, simple to drive, comfortable and offer a relaxing experience. $25 per hour.
Fishing Boats: There are several options for fishing boats that will all get you where you want to go. Each one has advantages and it all depends on how hard you want to work to get where you want to go. It also depends on how many people will be on the boat and how much money you want to spend.
15′ Row Boat: This one will require a bit of effort by rowing, which can be a challenge if it’s a windy day on the lake. But, even if you don’t catch any fish, at least you will benefit by a great upper body workout. $5 per hour.
15′ Electric Boat: This is my favorite Lake Mission Viejo Boat Rentals option for fishing, especially when senior rates apply. These are easy to maneuver, quiet, quick (not really) and great for 4 people. Low batteries will REALLY slow you down. $7 per hour.
Tracker Bass Boat: These sleek looking boats look cool and the serious Bass Fishermen probably prefer the low-profile with raised seating. $10 per hour.
Pontoon Boat: This option is ideal for going out with your family or fishing buddies that like to hang out together and socialize as a group. It holds 8 people and is like fishing off on mini-barge on the move. $25 per hour.
14′ Sail Boat: The current fleet of sail boats are all sailor friendly with a single sail configuration. It would be hard for even me to tip over a boat, which I did manage to do with one of the older 2 sail models. $7 per hour.
If you’re really serious about sailing, check out the Lake Mission Viejo Yacht Club.
FUN ON THE WATER

Kayaks: These are really fun and a great way to exercise while rowing around the lake. I prefer the single kayak ($5 per hour) over the tandem models ($7 per hour).
Standup Boards: These are the popular water toys of the day, but seem a bit pricey ($12 per hour) when compared to other rental rates. For the really adventurous and limber types, be sure to check out Paddleboard Yoga On Water.
Pedal Boats: Rent one just for FUN! These are always a favorite of the kids and a good way to enjoy being on the water. It’s also a good lower body workout from all the peddling that gets done. Just remember, it’s a lot harder coming back from the far end of the lake than getting out to the far end of the lake. $5 per hour.
Water Bikes: These are a lot of FUN and FUN to watch. In fact… they’re funny looking. Everyone seems to be smiling and having a good time when riding water bikes. Give one a try, at least once. Single: $7 per hour. Tandem: $10 per hour.
Rental Deposits Required: Each time a boat is rented, a deposit is collected. The amount of the deposit is typically equal to the amount of the hourly rate for the particular watercraft that is being rented. The deposit is returned when the rented item is returned.
Lake Mission Viejo Boat Rentals are for the pleasure and convenience of members and guests. Having so many options at affordable pricing is a benefit and privilege. Enjoy!
